Sales Engineer Job Description

Location: Stockholm

We are looking for a talented person to work with the sales engineering team in our Stockholm office. You will join a world-leader in Video and Voice over IP software solutions and play a significant role in supporting our European sales team, as well as customers world-wide. You will act as a link between GIPS engineering, our sales organization and our customers. Applicants should have excellent technical skills and extensive knowledge of software development, audio/video codecs, Voice/Video over IP software and systems. A typical applicant may have a background in sales engineering, or be a software developer that would like to focus more on customer interaction and the commercial side of a business rather than development. New graduates are also encouraged to apply. Effective verbal and written communications skills are very important for this role.

Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• Skilled C/C++ programmer
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (in English)
• Some travel is required.

Desired Skills:

• Professional software development experience
• Pre or post-sales experience
